The frame is cast in zinc aluminium, hand fitted and finished in standard, and the grips follow the original screw pattern so they can be replaced with a period set if you want a different look.

A blank gun is a real firearm mechanism that fires powder without a projectile. The barrel or the top of the chamber is vented, so the gas escapes upward or forward instead of pushing a bullet. That vent is what makes the gun legal in most of Europe and it is also the reason the noise is sharper than a replica cap gun.
