Mid-Sized Blank Firing Guns
Mid-Sized Blank Firing Guns
Mid sized models split the difference between the full size service pistols and the tiny pocket guns. They fit a normal hand, take a standard 9mm PAK or .380 blank, and they are light enough to carry in a costume holster for a full day without pulling the belt down. For reenactment and theatre work this is usually the practical size.
The frames are compact versions of the Beretta and 1911 patterns, so holsters and grips from the full size guns will not fit. Check the model page for dimensions before ordering leather, and expect a sharper recoil impulse than the full size model: less mass means more of the blast is felt in the hand.
