The Wooden Presentation Box copies the proportions of the original piece: the same length, the same grip angle and the same weight in the hand. The frame is cast in zinc aluminium, hand fitted and finished in Wood, and the grips follow the original screw pattern so they can be replaced with a period set if you want a different look.

The right display does two jobs: it shows the replica and it keeps hands off it. A framed set with a felt backing does both, and the glass keeps dust and fingerprints away from a nickel finish that marks easily. For a single gun, a presentation box with a cut-out is the classic choice and it stacks on a shelf without taking wall space.

Handle it the way you would the real thing: muzzle away from people, and in a case when you are in public. Wipe the metal with a dry cloth after handling, because fingerprints are acidic and will mark a Wood surface within weeks. Do not polish the finish, which is a thin surface treatment and comes off long before the tarnish does.
